As I learn more about Ted Williams (not the baseball player) it started my mind thinking, "Who is this homeless person?" What happened in his life that turned him to drugs and alcohol? What is rapid fame like for Ted? And, why is he now in rehab?
As I watched the video clip on Ted and his mother, since he was trying to get his acceptance from his mother. In this video clip, Ted explained to his mother how life has changed for the better for him. Since the last couple of weeks, Ted made a Kraft commercial blessing him with income, and he has gain exposure via TV and internet. His mother did not respond about the fame and money yet shared with Ted about God and the Bible by stating, “When I was trying to tell you, find god in your life". It became apparent to me that Ted did not want to engage a conversation with his mother on her spiritual conversation. Did he even bring up the fact that he abandoned his four children and wife of 40 years?
My personal opinion, Ted was a homeless person that came into fortune to fame overnight. I am puzzled why society embraced Ted (and not other homeless people)? Did they find out more about this person who is struggling with alcohol and drugs? Did they care enough about the Ted or much money they can make off of him.

What is on Ted's mind? |
Until he deals with himself and get the necessary help, everything he had in the past did dwindle and will dwindle this year before his eyes. Getting help is a process one has to take slowly and with God's help. Then you could bond wit his family and succeed in his career if he becomes sober. It is time not to take his family for granted anymore and not to lavish them with things, but be a father, grandfather & friend to all that he hurt over the years.
